Frequently
Asked Questions
Fire
Arms
Chile allows temporary
import of fire arms which include non automatic
rifles in most common calibers (including all .30's).
We must submit a temporary import request for your
rifle and ammo to Chilean authorities at least with
30 days in advance of your date of entry. You will
have to supply specific firearm data for this purpose.
Permits to exit (re-entry) your home country with
firearms must be obtained at home.
Do not bring any
firearms other than those previously authorized
for temporary import.
We have firearms
available at our lodge in cal. 300 Wby Mag.
Yes, you can test-fire
your rifle at our range.
Trophies
Trophies are properly
prepared and provided with documentation and seals
of the Chilean Agricultural Authority for shipment
home as accompanying baggage. We suggest taxidermy
service be obtained in your home country for the
time being.
Hunting
License
We will obtain your
temporary hunting license from the Agricultural
Authorities in Chile. Again, specific data must
be provided by the hunter prior to arrival.
Accompanying
parties
We have plenty of
space to host non-hunting parties. Our resort opens
up multiple opportunities for outdoor activities,
such as hiking, fishing, rowing, touring the surrounding
area, or to just relax in-doors or out-doors while
enjoying the landscape or reading a good book.
